Education
The goal of the Quatsino is to design and develop curricula in which both our Nation’s cultural traditions and mainstream knowledge and practices are learned and complement one another. We have had a measure of success with our K’akot’lats’l School, youth and Elder programs and summer science program, and we are continually developing new educational opportunities for the community.
Many of our programs, particularly in our K’akot’lats’l School, incorporate learning and practice of Quatsino traditional cultural activities—art, singing, dancing, ceremony, games, and language.
