Art is a cornerstone of Quatsino culture and is woven into our ceremonies, architecture, clothing, and everyday lives. Our Nation takes great pride in the many artists who are keeping our traditions alive, passing on what they have learned from the Elders and fellow artists. With every ceremonial item made for ceremony or adornment, canoe carved for our journeys, housefront, pole or post created for our community, each artistic creation is a blessing and a gift to our People.

Our artists are at the forefront of Northwest Coast Kwakwaka’wakw art. This section of the website will provide a growing number of portraits of these artists and their work.
